Andrew Rambo, DVM

Dr. Rambo was born in Independence, Missouri and attended William Chrisman High School. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pre-professional Zoology in 1992 from Northwest Missouri State University. Although he had a strong interest in wildlife biology, he decided to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. He was a past President of the Raptor Rehabilitation Program in Columbia, MO and in 1996 graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree.

Dr. Rambo is currently a member of the Kansas City Veterinary Medical Association, Missouri Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Veterinary Medical Association. He has a special interest in exotic animal medicine and has treated and performed surgeries on a large variety of species from reptiles to small mammals. Dr. Rambo is currently an adjunct instructor at Maple Woods campus for Metropolitan Community College.

He resides in Kansas City North and is married with twin daughters and the bestest dog “Jake from State Farm”. When not working, Dr. Rambo enjoys all things nerdy and geeky, but we hired him anyway.
