Taylor Shulse, DVM, MPH
Dr. Shulse was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, and graduated from Blue Valley North High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Kansas State University, followed by a Master of Public Health with a focus on infectious and zoonotic diseases. He went on to earn his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from St. George’s University and completed his clinical training at Kansas State University.
Dr. Shulse is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Missouri Veterinary Medical Association, and the Kansas Veterinary Medical Association. He has always had a passion for caring for dogs and cats and has developed a special interest in orthopedic surgery. He currently provides Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomies (TPLOs) and simple fracture repairs. With his background in public health, Dr. Shulse is also happy to help pet owners understand how to prevent diseases that can affect both their pets and their families.
At home Dr. Shulse shares his life with his cat, Tonto, and his two dogs, Tim and Kingsley. When he’s not at the clinic, you’ll often find him taking motorcycle trips with his dad, working on trucks, skiing in the winter, or enjoying time at the lake with friends and family.
