Taylor Shulse, DVM, MPH

Dr. Shulse was born in Kansas City, Missouri. He is a graduate of Blue Valley North High school. He received his Bachelor of science from Kansas State University in Animal Science and his master’s degree in public health with an emphasis on infectious diseases and zoonotic infections. Dr. Shulse received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from St. George’s University and completed his clinical year of training at Kansas State University.

Dr. Shulse is Currently a member of American Veterinary Medical Association, Missouri Veterinary Medical Association, and Kansas Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Shulse has always enjoyed working with dogs and cats but has found a great interest during his clinical year in working more with exotics including ferrets, rabbits, rodents, and reptiles. With his background in public health, he can answer any questions you may have concerning preventing disease that can affect your pet as well as your family.

Dr. Shulse currently resides in Kansas City, MO with his cat Tonto that he acquired as a 3-week-old, abandoned kitten during his clinical year at Kansas state. In his free time, he enjoys taking motorcycle trips with his father, working on trucks, snow skiing trips and lake trips with friends and family.
